Job Title: Design Assistant

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Must be a local resident)

Position Overview: We are growing! We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our design projects. The ideal candidate will assist in creating beautiful, cohesive spaces. This role requires a creative eye, a passion for design, and hands-on support to help execute our design plans efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Support:
    • Collaborate on design projects, supporting lead designers in sourcing and arranging design elements.
    • Assist in organizing design materials and inventory, ensuring everything is available for each project.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of design and staging materials.
    • Stay updated on design trends and styles to enhance each property’s aesthetic appeal.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Work closely with the design team to ensure projects are completed on time and meet high standards.
    • Maintain communication with the team regarding timelines and any potential challenges.
    • Keep inventory organized and support the team in managing materials for design projects.

Requirements:

  • Must be a local Arizona resident with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transporting staging and design materials.
  • Must have a personal computer/laptop for communication and project coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for interior design and home décor.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in home staging, interior design, or related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of design and staging software/tools is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with home styling trends and best practices 

 

Job Type: Part-time (up to 15-20 hours per week) with flexible hours based on project demands.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.

Trade Showroom, A&D Luxury Furniture Sales

Job description:

This sales position is for a high achieving, goal oriented, service minded, individual who will work directly with interior designers and architects, supporting their project needs. Develop and maintain strong trade professional relationships, working from the showroom, visiting firms in the community, travel throughout the state of AZ. Develop and facilitate PowerPoint presentations, educate on new product launches. Attend networking events. We require 3+ years of trade showroom sales experience or retail interior furnishings sales. Interior design education or experience is a bonus to understanding and succeeding in this role. This role is salary, plus commission.

Responsibilities:.

  • Manage trade accounts, create tearsheets, quotes, invoices, acquire lead times, request fabric and finish swatches.
  • Write sales orders, manage orders, manage lead times, keep customer informed of any delays or changes. Manage orders until shipped.
  • Collect deposits and balances for orders, work closely with purchasing department.
  • Work on POS system and internal documents created in Microsoft Office, create presentation in Canva, proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree, Bachelors degree a plus.
  • 3+ years experience in a professional environment that includes luxury high-end furnishings sales. Trade showroom experience a plus.
  • Strong personal management, personal motivation and follow through.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency required.
