The 2018 Interior Designer For Hire Program Is Back

The Interior Designer For Hire program is designed to help homeowners who want design guidance and advice regarding their new home or remodel project and have not worked with a professional interior designer previously. It’s a great way to get an understanding of the benefits.

For the modest fee of $75 per hour (maximum 2 hours), the public is matched with an ASID interior designer. Consumers who register are placed with an interior designer based on location, project specifications, and other parameters. The ASID designers who participate in the program donate their consultation time. The fees collected are used for student design scholarships and educational programs that help further the profession of interior design.

This is an excellent way for homeowners to learn how interior designers provide a difference in their homes through their in-depth knowledge of space planning, products, and materials and finishes; not to mention their ability to plan, schedule, execute, and manage projects from start to finish.
